Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of using interactive white board on particulate structure of matter and pure matters in science courses comparison with the courses taught without using interactive white board and its reflections on students academic achievement, attitudes towards science and permanence of their knowledge. This research is a quasi-experimental study which contains pre-test and post-test groups. The sampling group of this study consist of fifty-five seventh grade students in a government school in the 2018-2019 academic year. The pursuance was carried out by using interactive white board in the experimental group on the other hand the control group did not use interactive white board. The pursuance lasted four weeks. Quantitative data were collected in this research. 'Particulate structure of matter and pure maters achievement test' and 'attitude scale for science lesson' were used as data collection and this data was analyzed by SPSS 20 application. The results show us that using interactive white board in science lessons create significant difference in favor of the experimental group on their academic achievement and attitudes towards science.
