Comparison of application of ground source heat pump with central air conditioning and natural gas systems in a building in Malatya

In this study, ground source heat pump has been compared with central air conditioning and natural gas systems in a building in Malatya.In this comparing, chiller system has been applied to give cooling feature natural gas systems which have only heating feature. It has been planned ground source heat pump and natural gas for heating and cooling system with under floor heating and cooling; central air conditioning system with air ducts. Initial investment costs and annual energy consumption of all systems have been calculated and duration of repayment of the money has been found over the values obtained.It has been concluded that the ground source heat pump is more advantageous than the other systems when considering the implementation of heating and cooling together and the periods of repayment of money.
