The analysis of Mânî's Diwan

The 16th Century was a fruitful period within Ottoman history during which politics, art, and literature had reached their peaks, and whereby both Classical Turkish literature in its very essence was shaped as well many a masterful poet had penned many a marvelous work. One of the most important of these bardic figures is the Balkan-reared poets Mânî. The aim of the study is to reveal his literary personality and world view by analyzing the divan of Mânî. In this study, the Spiritual Dîvân was divided into five chapters under the headings of "Religion, Sufism, Society, Human and Nature", and in each chapter the relevant notions were examined in detail and the doors of the poet's world of poetry were opened.
