The music factors in the folk culture of Manisa city Demirci town Mahmutlar neighborhood

This thesis study, which is composed of music elements in the folk culture of the Mahmutlar district of the Demirci district of Manisa, covers the music practices and phenomena that continue to exist in the local culture in general. The diversity of music elements in Mahmutlar neighborhood and the lack of a comprehensive study conducted in the past have been effective in this research. Music elements determined in the region were determined according to the methods and techniques of field research. In the literature search, it was observed that the information on the cultural structure of the region was limited and in this direction, information was collected by referring to the oral sources. Within the scope of the thesis plan, data on the culture and history of the region were evaluated. Afterwards, visual and audio materials collected in the field were collected and information about the verbal and musical evaluation of these samples was given. In this context, the folk music samples obtained as a result of the works carried out in the field were taken into the note.
