Özet (EN)

In this study, NIPA (N-isopropylacrylamide), AMPS (2-acrylamido 2-methyl 1- propane sulfonic acid) as a co-monomer, MBA (N, N'-methylenebisacrylamide) as a catalyst, TEMED (N Cross-linked polymers were synthesized using N, N', N'-tetramethylethylenediamine) and APS (Ammonium persulfate) as the initiator. Cross-linked polymers are prepared by free radical polymerization in solution medium. Water was used as a solution. Poly (ethylene glycol) was used to obtain the semi-IPN structure and NIPA polymer powder (10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%) was used to obtain the full-IPN structure. Semi-IPN and full-IPN hydrogels were loaded with iron (Fe2+, Fe3+) ions to obtain magnetic semi-IPN and full-IPN hydrogels. Swelling-deswelling behaviours of synthesized semi-IPN and full-IPN hydrogels under magnetic field were investigated. It was a hydrogel containing 40% polymer powder that showed the best swelling-deswelling behavior under the magnetic field. In addition, the swelling-deswelling behavior of hydrogel containing 40% polymer powder from full-IPN hydrogels at different temperature and pH was investigated. In order to have an information on the surface porosity of full-IPN hydrogel (40%), SEM images were obtained. To determine the amount of percentage of Fe ions in the hydrogels containing 40% polymer powder EDX (elementary analysis) were performed. On the other hand to obtain the particle distribution of Fe ions, Mapping scan was carried out. KEY WORDS: N-isopropylacrylamide, 2-acrylamido 2-methyl 1- propane sulfonic acid, magnetic field, hydrogels.
