Process Efficiency, Process Problems and Solution Proposals of Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant in Kızıltepe District of Mardin Province With the increasing world urbanization rate, domestic regional wastewater has become one of the leading leaders in the emergence of environmental pollution. Urban Wastewater Production Facilities are facilities that have been constructed to prevent this pollution and prevent or minimize harmful effects before reaching the receiving environment where the domestic wastewater will be transferred. In this study, Kızıltepe Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant with 24 months of composite samples from the entry and exit of daily facility for 8 months, COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand), pH, AKM (Suspended Solids), TN (Total Nitrogen), TP (Total Phosphorus), NH+4-N (Ammonium Nitrogen) and NO-3-N (Nitrate nitrogen) were analyzed and the productivity were observed. With instant samples taken from the ventilation pond, MLSS (Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids), MLVSS (Mixed Liquor Volatile Suspended Solids), IMHOFF, SVI (Sludge Volume Index) and CaCO3 (Calcium Carbonate), organic acid samples were analyzed and evaluated. The discharge limits of the Kızıltepe Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plants of the General Directorate of Mardin Water and Sewerage Administration were evaluated according to the Urban Wastewater Treatment Regulation. Wastewater pollutant property and plant goal on the basis of these regulations and project report. Monthly average value for each parameter is supported by tables and graphs and operational efficiencies are examined in compliance with the Urban Wastewater Treatment Regulation. Daily analysis data are presented in tables in the appendix of the last part of the study. The operational problems encountered in Kızıltepe Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant were investigated and stated together with the proposed solutions.
