Abstract (EN)

It is always said that many writers act on the basis of their experiences in their first works. It is possible to say that this is also true for Mario Levi. As in his first work, the author never neglected to benefit from his autobiography until his last published work. Mario Levi (1957), who was born in Istanbul to a Jewish family, made up the majority of his heroes from Jews or Greeks representing the minority in Turkey. The author has processed both his own experiences and the problems and experiences of the minority society through these heroes in his works. In 1984, the newspaper Life of Shalom Levi, who started his literary career with his first article published in the appendix, has published twelve novels, three stories and an essay book so far. In the works he wrote, he accepted the use of his autobiography as an important step in the understanding of authorship, and he often included sections from his life in his works. The aim of this study is to try to determine the relationship between the work and autobiography based on the works of Mario Levi. In this context, all the published stories and novels of the author were examined. While examining the novels and stories, chronological order was taken into consideration. However, while trying to determine the links between the author's writings and his life, magazines, newspapers, interviews and academic studies written about him were used.
