Abstract (EN)
The impact of climate change makes itself felt more clearly day by day. This effect is experienced more intensely especially in coastal areas. Being aware of the effects of climate change, having the necessary risk perceptions and awareness, and currently conducting adaptation procedures are considered as an important requirement for marinas, which are a tourism facility built on the coastal area. In subtance, the aim of the study is to examine the climate change perceptions of Marmara Region marinas as well as the basic dimensions of climate change; climate change risk perception, climate change awareness, the impact of climate change and adaptation to climate change. In line with the purpose of the research, a questionnaire consisting of 36 questions has been applied to the officials of the target marinas. The findings obtained have revealed that Marmara Region marinas have a high perception of climate change through their officials. In addition, within the perceptions of the marina officials significant and positive relationships have been obtained between the dimensions of climate change as follows: between the impact of climate change and adaptation to climate change; climate change risk perception and adaptation to climate change; climate change impact and awareness of climate change.
