Özet (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to examine the effects of garlic given as a feed additive on blood and antioxidant parameters of carp fish (Cyprinius carpio) in order to determine the different effects of Tunceli garlic (Allium tuncelianum Kollman) compared to other garlics (Allium sativum L.). Measurements were taken every 15 days after the fish were released into the first tanks. Numerically, the highest increase in weight was observed in the group fed with masare Tunceli garlic added feed (20 g), secondly the control group (17 g), thirdly the macerated garlic oil added feed group (15 g) and finally the sunflower oil added control group ( 12 g) respectively. Although numerical differences were observed in weight gain between the groups, no statistical difference was detected (P>0.05). Similarly, in the FCR (feed conversion ratio) values, Tunceli garlic had the highest value with 1.16, control group with 1.38, garlic as the third with 1.67, and sunflower control group with 2.13. When the Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) analysis results were examined, the highest value was 0.639±0.057 U/ml in the garlic group, Tunceli garlic ranked second with 0.527±0.024 U/ml and control sunflower oil ranked third with 0.520±0.059 U/ml. and the control group followed in the last place with the lowest value of 0.456±0.047 U/ml. While there was no statistical difference between the control sunflower group and the Tunceli garlic group (P>0.05), there was a statistical difference between the other groups (P<0.05). Catalase (CAT) analysis results show that Tunceli garlic group has the highest value with 0.758±0.055 nmol/min/ml, the garlic group has the second value with 0.625±0.032 nmol/min/ml, and the control sunflower group has 0.609±0.031 nmol/min/ml. and the control group was in the last place with a value of 0.453±0.015 nmol/min/ml. While there was no statistical difference between the sunflower oil control group and the garlic group (P>0.05), there was a significant difference between the other groups (P<0.05). In malondialdehyde (MDA) analysis results, Tunceli garlic had the lowest value with 0.770±0.017 µM, followed by garlic group with a value of 1.133±0.046 µM, sunflower with a value of 1.190±0.025 µM in the third place and control group with a value of 1.351±0.031 µM. group followed in the last place. While there was no statistical difference between the sunflower control group and the garlic groups (P>0.05), there was a statistically significant difference between all other groups (P<0.05).
