Özet (EN)
In this thesis, the effects of macerated agarwood (Aquilaria agallocha Roxb.) oil on the antioxidant status and growth performance of high-stocked goldfish (Carassius auratus) were investigated. At the end of 30 days of trial, the highest body weight was obtained in the Mas1 group, while all final weight data in the macerated agarwood trial groups with high stocking density were higher than the KY group. While the best FCR value was found in the Mas1 group, the FCR values of the Mas05 and Mas2 groups with high stocking density were better than the KD group with low stocking density. In terms of MB, RBO and SBO growth parameters, Mas1 group gave the highest values, while the lowest data were recorded in the KY group. It has been observed that feeds supplemented with macerated agarwood oil is effective in the growth performance of goldfish at high stocking density. The most effective macerated agarwood oil ratio was determined as 1% in terms of growth performance. Regarding antioxidant status, feeds supplemented with macerated agarwood oil reduced oxidative stress of goldfish at high stocking density. The most effective macerated agarwood oil ratios on the increase of SOD and CAT enzyme activities at high stocking densities were determined as 1% and 0.5%, respectively. The most effective macerated agarwood oil ratio was determined as 1% for reducing the MDA level. As a result, macerated agarwood oil was found to be effective in improving the growth performance and antioxidant status of goldfish at high stocking density. Considering the growth performance and antioxidant status, the optimal ratio of macerated agarwood oil in feed that can be recommended for goldfish is 1%.
