Abstract (EN)

Artificial intelligence was first used as a concept in 1956, foundations dating was back to the 17th century. Development and widespread of artificial intelligence have been use very rapid, but the history of artificial intelligence is not very old. Artificial intelligence is described as an imitation of human intelligence which is included in every field where humans exist. Artificial intelligence is used is undoubtedly education. As research summarizing, applications, usage methods and effects of artificial intelligence is quite limited in education. In this study, the trends of articles on "artificial intelligence" were determined in the field of mathematics education. A systematic review was conducted to offer various suggestions to the relevant field. In this research, 398657 articles were founded by scanning Scopus, Eric, Dergipark, TRDİZİN and Google Scholar databases. These articles were systematically reviewed according to the PRISMA principles. According to the inclusion criteria, 25 studies were included into research. The analysis of the selected articles was carried out using the content analysis method and descriptive analysis method taking into year, country, study group, research method, data collection tool, artificial intelligence tool used, disposition and results as data analysis method. The findings are shown as frequency and percentage. Existing studies were mostly conducted in Turkey in 2020 and in high schools as a sample. The most used research method is quantitative and qualitative. The data collection tool is observation. The artificial intelligence tool was determined as robotics and the data analysis method was descriptive statistics. It is thought that the use of artificial intelligence positively affects success in mathematics education. Artificial intelligence is thought to be an effective tool in teaching mathematics. As a suggestion with this study; conducting studies with pre-school groups, including artificial intelligence tools in the school curriculum and increasing artificial intelligence applications in the classroom.
