Abstract (EN)

Day by day, mankind is becoming more aware of the rapid consumption of resources and the danger of environmental pollution. For this reason, important studies are being carried out on the more efficient use of resources and the choice of materials and/or methods that are least harmful to the environment. Considering the power densities achieved, hybrid renewable energy structures can be considered as good candidates for power generation and operation of electronic devices. The concept of triboelectricity is a phenomenon that occurs as a result of electron exchange between uncharged, i.e. neutral materials due to their short-term contact with each other. Since the determination of the mechanisms of triboelectric effect, on the one hand, materials with this effect have been investigated, on the other hand, studies have been carried out to increase the energy to be produced as triboelectric. Based on this, the tribological properties of the polymer doped with MXene powders produced in this study were investigated and the differences were discussed. MXene used in the study was produced from MAX phase material by etching process. For this purpose, the MAX phase used as raw material is in the form of Ti3SiC2. MAX phase was subjected to chemical etching with 4 different acids in the study. These acids are hydrofluoric acid (HF), hydrochloric acid (HCl), sulphuric acid (H2SO4) and nitric acid (HNO3). The MAX phase etching process was carried out at 3 different times and 3 different molarities. The leaching process was carried out for 12-48-96 hours with 3-5-7 molar acid. In total, possible phase change was analysed in 36 different recipes. After the etching process, the mixture was centrifuged until the pH value was '6' and the mixture was ready for use. MXene powders were characterised under XRD and particle sizes were determined using a Zetasizer. MXene powder was added to the polymer solution and mixed with a magnetic stirrer. The solution was poured into a petri dish to form a film. Solvent casting technique was used for film formation. The voltage evolution of the produced films was tested under oscilloscope.
