Examining the annual open-air temperature values of geographical regions of Turkey by maximum entropy method

Entropy has a very important role in Statistics. When we examine the recent studies it can be seen that entropy take place nearly in every brunches of natural and social sciences. In this study, maximum entropy distribution is examined under two and three restrictions and there have given some examples firstly, then by calculating the MaxEnt distribution for the last 43 years? annual open-air temperatures of seven geographical regions and Turkey, which are obtained from meteorology general management, the accordance between the observed frequencies and the frequencies obtained from the probabilities of the MaxEnt distribution is examined by Chi-Square and R2 criteria.
