Abstract (EN)
In this study, linear accelerators used in radiotherapy mode of operation and international absorbed dose protocols (TRS-277, TRS-381, TRS-398, AAPM TG-21, AAPM TG-21) is transferred to the required measuring systems and compared with the water absorbed dose (D_w).The purpose of radiotherapy is to send maximum beam to tumortissue while sending minimum beam to normal tissue. In this regard, the first step in treatment should be adjusting the beam sent to the patient properly. This process is called calibration in radiotherapy. When protocols are examined, the user has two options: absorbed dose in air and absorbed dose in water. The purpose of these options is to determine the ability of beam to penetrate water-equivalent tissue so to provideimplementation of the desired level of dose on tissue. The dosecalibration procedures being implemented inour countryand theworld are important in terms of radiotherapy devices? providing accurate and desired treatment. In this study, the user benefits of procedures used in radiotherapy are given through analyzing various research and application results. In thıs study, it was explored that the water absorbed-dose protocols calculate the absorbed döşe more accurate than and provide convenience for clinical physicists.
