Principles of Mehmet Feyzi Efendi's Quran interpretation

Holy Qur'an Quran has been commented on by many scholars until this time. Mehmet Feyzi Efendi is a scholar who has influenced not only Kastamonu but also outside of Kastamonu with his interpretation in the light of Qur'an and Sunna, interpreting some verses from the Qur'an. The study consists of two main parts. In the first part, Mehmet Feyzi Efendi's understanding of the Qur'an and the priorities in interpreting the Qur'an are discussed. In the second part, Mehmet Feyzi Efendi's interpretation of the Qur'an is discussed within the framework of general and special principles. These principles are evidenced by the necessary conditions from the reading of the Qur'an to the realization of the Qur'an, the methods of understanding and reading the Qur'an, and the interpretation of some verses based on the verses of another verse, hadith or the views of the Ahl al-Sunnah scholars. In addition, the linguistics of the verses, the commentary on the ischaracterical and apparent aspects are also mentioned. Key Words: Qur'an, verse, tafsir, hadith, Ahl al-Sunnah, method.
