Investigation of effect of resveratrol binded to carrier silver nanoparticles in breast cell line

Abstract (EN)

The effects of resveratrol, a natural phytoalexin, as a result of binding to the non-toxic silver nanoparticles, were evaluated on cell lines by calculating the IC50 values using the XTT method. Mda-Mb-231 and Mcf-7 lines were used as a cancer cell lines, while Mcf-10 healthy cell line was used as the control group. As a result of IC50 values, it was concluded that the Mda-Mb-231 cell line was sensitive and this cell line was examined by flow cytometry. As a result of flow cytometry, a decrease in viability was observed in the Mda-Mb-231 cell line and increase in early apoptotic, late apoptotic and necros values was observed. When used alone resveratrol arrests the cell cycle in the G0/G1 phase. İf resveratrol and silver nanoparticles are use together, the cell cycle arrested at the S phase. As a result our present, it was determined that resveratrol and silver nanoparticles could be bound. A cytotoxic effect is observed on the cancer cell as a result of the combination of resveratrol and silver nanoparticles. Resveratrol and silver nanoparticles stop the cell cycle and increase apoptosis, so it was thought that it could be used in treatment.
