Özet (EN)
The main objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between the static deformation modulus (Em) obtained from the Menard Pressuremeter Test (PMT) and the dynamic elasticity moduli derived from geophysical methods (seismic velocities). Experimental studies were conducted to determine the existence of a correlation between these two parameters in different soil types. Within the scope of the study, seismic refraction and Multi-Channel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW) geophysical measurements were performed at locations close to five boreholes. These measurements were analyzed, and the shear wave (Vs) and primary wave (Vp) velocities were calculated as a function of depth. Pressuremeter tests were conducted at forty different levels within the boreholes in question. To check the consistency of the performed field tests, the N60 values obtained from the Standard Penetration Test (SPT) conducted in three boreholes were evaluated comparatively against the shear wave velocity Vs and Menard modulus values. The comparative evaluation of the obtained soil parameters revealed that strong positive correlations exist between the data obtained by different methods. The static elasticity modulus values obtained from the PMT were found to be in the 20 MPa to 40 MPa range, yielding highly consistent results with the Alpan curve for soft clays. It was observed that the dynamic/static modulus ratio (Ed/Es) calculated from the SPT provided a high level of agreement with the Alpan curve in the 20 MPa to 100 MPa range, which encompasses the entirety of the study. Furthermore, based on the F-test analysis, the results obtained in this study were found to be consistent with the values reported in the current literature.
