Prose stories (language analysis-text-verse)

This study aims to examine the grammatical features of the work called Mensur Hikâyeler (= Prose Stories) and to present its text and index. The work is a manuscript bearing the characteristics of Old Anatolian Turkish and consists of 13 prose stories. It is not known who wrote the work. This study, prepared as a master's thesis, consists of six sections; introduction, ortography, phonetics, morphology, text and index-dictionary. In the introduction section, the content of the study is explained in general and the purpose of the study is emphasized. In the ortography, phonetics and morphology sections, a language analysis of the text is made by giving examples based on the text. In the text section, the text is transcribed. In the index, all words in the text are accepted as headings, an analytical index is made and the meanings of the words in the text are included.
