Abstract (EN)

Marble gangsaw is very important for stone technology, they can have two configurations; the blade carrying frame can be moved vertically, with a block that can be raised vertically. Marble gangsaw with the block in a set position have 4 columns anchored to the foundations and connected on the top by cross-pieces and beams. Each column has a saddle running on a guide; the 4 saddles serve as horizontal- positioned blade frame. As cutting proceeds the frame gradually descends. To lower it, or raise it when cutting is finished, a feed nut mechanism is used, or in other words each column has a screw on the connected to a nut in the saddle. The blade frame is driven by a connecting rod crank system, in other words is connected with connected rod to the crankshaft coupled to a flywheel to regularize movement. The flywheel's shaft is moved by a belt connecting the drive pulley to the flywheel, which serves as an enormous pulley.
