Abstract (EN)
m ABSTRACT Today, when we are entering into the year 2000, the concepts of globalization and competition have gained great importance. With the emerge of globalization, the world became smaller and globalization had a great influence on most of the countries and sectors. As it is too difficult for these countries and sectors to stand such excessive competition, there have been made some suggestions to solve the problem. In this work, our main concern will be the Turkish Marble Sector regarded in the framework of globalization and competition strategies and we will analyze competition by suggesting solutions to the problem. This work is divided in to four chapters: In the first chapter, we will focus on the concepts of competition, superiority of competition and their advantages. In the second chapter, strategies of competition are examined in detail. In the third chapter, we will deal with globalization and its effects both on competition and on sources, marketing, business manegement and strategies. Finally, in our fourth chapter, we will analyze Turkish Marble Sector competing in the global market and suggest solutions to the problem.
