Abstract (EN)
With the technological developments, the use and production of marble has become one of the most important areas of the mining sector. One of the main problems of the industrial enterprises engaged in marble production is the dust that arises during the cutting of the marble. Evaluation of these wastes is important. The aim of this study is to investigate the heat and sound insulation values of the marble powder belong to marble producer in Burdur region with mixing with the polyurethane and provide usability as a building material. In this study, sound absorption coefficients, sound conduction loss coefficients, and thermal conductivity values of the mixtures of marble powder and polyurethane in different volumetric ratios were compared. In the experiment results, with the increase marble powder volumetrical in mix, sound absorption coefficient and the sound transmission loss coefficient increased but values in thermal conductivity coefficient decreased.
