Abstract (EN)
Self compacting concrete (SCC) is a special concrete that produce with chemical admixtures for achieving high flow concrete consistency. Casting of concrete, such as this should be easier, reduces faults arising from the workability. Thus, it is easier to obtain high quality concrete and reinforced concrete products. It can also be defined as high performance concrete due to its ability of self-compacting under its own weight and easier casting of molds. Besides the self-compacting property of SCC has many benefits like reduced manufacture time, reduced workmanship costs, workability in high volume rebar placed reinforced concretes and sound reduction of vibration. The waste marble dusts obtain by different methods or cutting process of marble in marble manufacturing companies. However, some environmental problems occur during the uncontrolled spill of these waste materials in habitat. The waste marble becomes an important fact in Bilecik province due to the number of marble factories above 200. Cement and concrete technology is an alternative field for utilization of these waste materials. Which is an industrial waste found in abundance in the province of Bilecik marble dust around other industrial waste which is a granulated blast furnace slag (GBFS) will be examined with the use of the production of SCC. In this study, the marble dust and blast furnace slag is used for SCC production. First of all, the rheological workability and hardened concrete properties were determined by experimental studies. After this procedure, the microstructure studies were carried out to determine the bond changes in the SCC. The later age performance of marble and GBFS was determine by durability tests. Thus, the evaluability of marble dust and GBFS in SCC technology will be examined.
