Özet (EN)

Nowadays, with the intense use of fossil fuels, the search for alternative energy sources continues. In this context, in this study, acorn (Quercus Ithaburensis), which is one of the biomass sources, was considered as an alternative energy source for biofuel and pyrolytic oil was produced by the pyrolysis method. The products are optimized with 4 different parameter conditions. These parameters are temperature, entraining nitrogen gas flow rate, particle size and heating rate. In the optimization study, the most suitable pyrolytic oil production conditions; It was determined as 500 °C temperature, 1 L/min entraining nitrogen gas flow rate, 0-2 mm particle size, 10 °C/min heating rate and 30 min fixed retention time. It was determined that the amount of pyrolytic oil produced with these determined production conditions was 19.40% as the highest mass ratio. From the physical properties of the obtained pyrolytic oil, the density was 1.089 g/cm3, the kinematic viscosity at 40°C was 9.20 mm2/s, the water ratio was 2.72 mg/kg, and the sulfur ratio was 0.47 ppm.
