Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to reveal the relationship between Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School teachers 'work integration and managers' views on leadership behaviors. The research, which was designed in the relational survey model, was applied to the Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School teachers in the central district of Bolu in the 2018-2019 academic year. In this research, Business Integration Scale and Leadership Behavior Scale were used as data collection tools. The results of the research are as follows: Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School teachers' views on job integration are at the level of "agree" both in the Job Integration Scale and in the sub-dimensions of physical, emotional and cognitive integration. Teachers 'views on managers' leadership behaviors; it is "rarely" in total scale and unrelated leadership and autocratic leadership sub-dimensions, and "mostly" in democratic leadership. The personal characteristics of the teachers (gender, education level, branch, seniority) did not reveal any significant difference in their views on job integration. On the other hand, education levels and branches revealed significant differences in their views on leadership behaviors of managers in some sub-dimensions and in total. Teachers' integration into the work has revealed a small level positive relationship with the democratic leadership of the administrators; a very low level of negative relationship in unrelated leadership in scale-wide and sub-dimensions. Some of the research suggestions are: focusing on social, cultural and sportive activities that will ensure the unity of teachers outside their work and ensuring the participation of school administrators in the activities, not to busy education activities which are primary duty of teachers with administrative, paperwork and stationery works, organizing trainings that will improve leadership attitudes to those currently assigned as manager in the education system by means of local, central or distance education.
