Abstract (EN)
Humans have the faculty of reason and are able to perceive changes through their senses which regulate in a particular way by classification of the information the experience. The human reduces this multitude to one/unity and records in the memory ? when it is necessary the human can access this knowledge again and make use of it. Although classification has the key role in human life, the preliminary conscious studies how humans make the classification, however, we experience in Aristotle. This study deals with Aristotle?s classification approach in the context of Metaphysica and biological lectures. We attempt to point out in a comparative way the classification forms that he uses in the lectures of biology with the classification forms that he uses in the Metaphysica lecture. Aristotle, who prefers binary or ternary classification form in the Metaphysica, refers to the uselessness of the binary classification form in biology studies attempts to find the detailed classes and while he makes the classification in these issues, rather he takes into consideration the classification criteria obtained from the experiences. Key Words: Class, classification, category, division, concept, being, thought.
