Özet (EN)

The metal sector is one of the sectors with the highest number of occupational accidents. For this reason, there are many studies in the literature on the number of work accidents in the metal sector and the factors affecting the number of work accidents. However, there is no study in the literature that reveals occupational accident risk values. All of the risk analyzes and risk management studies in the literature are based on risk calculation over the workplace environment. As a new approach, for the first time, the occupational accident risk values of the workers working in the metal industry were calculated based on the number of work accidents and workforce losses, and the factors affecting the occupational accident risk values of the employees were investigated. According to the findings, the occupational accident risk values of many factors such as education level, income level, working overtime, smoking or alcohol use, stress, insomnia based on demographic characteristics of employees, work-related characteristics, health-related characteristics and job satisfaction-related characteristics. found to be increased. According to the results obtained, measures to reduce occupational accident risk values are discussed in detail.
