Abstract (EN)

The esterification of glycerol and acetic acid is a very important reaction for the industry. In this work, M-TPA and SBA-15 / M-TPA were synthesized and characterized and tested in a glycerol-acetic acid reaction. Ultrasonic and hydrothermal methods, one of the nano material synthesis methods, have been used in catalyst production. All synthesized catalysts were characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy, XRD, TGA, SEM, BET and XRF analyzes. The characterization results show that the structure of M-TPA salt and SBA-15 supported M-TPA salt are synthesized without deterioration. In the step of the reaction test, the synthesized catalysts were tested in glycerol-acetic acid esterification at 60 ° C. As a result of the reaction with M-TPA salts, very high glycerol conversion and high MA, DA, TA selectivities were obtained. The most active catalyst is Fe3(PW12O4O)3. In order to investigate the effect of the surface area, the reaction over M-TPA salts in various loads with high surface area supported SBA-15 was carried out and very high conversion and MA, DA, TA selectivities were obtained due to high surface area. At this stage, the most active catalyst was identified as %20 Fe3(PW12O4O)3 / SBA-15. Keywords: 12-tungstofosforik acid salt, Metal exchanged, SBA-15, Chracterization, Glycerol esterification
