The history science and hadith science agree on the analysis, synthesis criticisim of the events and phenomena Wich took place in the past. These two sciences are not the same. Certainly, they have also different aspects. Historians and muhaddiths have developed a numbe of methods for the reliability of both sciences. History science and hadith science have used the method of criticism to distinguish right from wrong. İn terms of both science, the system of criticism is important. Hadith science is also a branch of science that contains historical knowledge. Hadith science has berefited from the data and methods of the history science to convey it's rules and truth to the people firmly, reliably and authenticly. Internal and external methods used in the science of history, emerge as a text and deed criticism in the hadith science. It is a fact that these two sciences using criticism methods, have similar and different, aspects. Conseguently, İt is a fact that the hadith criticism system is more analytical and more sensitive than the history criticism system. İn these context, we tried to point outh this argument in our thesis. Baseg on the fact that the hadith and history sciences have berefited from the principles of each other, we gave examples from the narratives that are contrary to historical information in terms of text criticism in the hadith and historical sources.
