Abstract (EN)
The banking sector, which is one of the basic building blocks of the economy, seems to be an area based on barter exchange between people. This sector, which needs trust and develops and changes every day, was first based on modern banking on a national basis. The national development of the banking sector, on the other hand, dates back to the period of foreign capital banking in the Ottoman period. It is seen that the banking sector is both at the root of the crises and that other sectors have standing power in the return of the crisis. The aim of the study is to measure the performance of the 13 banks with the largest asset size operating in the sector and make a ranking. In the study, using the Multi-MOORA method, one of the multi-criteria decision-making methods, the analysis is made with the data of the 2010-2020 period of the 13 banks with the highest asset size included in the study.
