Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship social skill and attitudes towards school of students studying at secondary school in 2020-2021 academic year. This is a descriptive research in relational survey model. The participants of the study are 5th 6th 7th 8th students consisting of 321 seasonal agricultural worker students in the province of Iğdır in the 2020-2021 academic year. As a result of the research, it has been determined that there is a moderate, positive and significant correlation between the social skills and attitudes towards school of secondary school students. In general, it has been determined that students' attitudes towards school are at a high level and there is a positive significant relationship. Seasonal agricultural worker students' social skills and attitude towards school levels vary significantly according to the level of economic status. Seasonal agricultural worker students' social skills and attitude towards school levels are highest in the middle economic situation; lowest in the poor economic situation. In future studies, the reasons that affect the level of social skills and attitudes towards school can be revealed according to the economic status variable of seasonal agricultural worker students. The reasons for the low social skill levels of male students compared to female students can be determined and measures can be taken to eliminate this situation.
