Abstract (EN)
This study dealing with the sacred tree motif within the framework of cylinder seals, examines the changes of a motif which spread across different cultures by social influences. In this context studied the sacred tree motif from IVth. Millenium B.C. till VIth. century B.C. cylinder seals from Mesopotamia. In addition the sacred tree motifs of the cylinder seals which unearthed from the periphery of Mesopotamia are also discussed. The scenes including the motif are classified in cultural.
