Abstract (EN)
Michael Ende was a renowned German author known for his fantastical works. His distinctive storytelling and the depth of meaning in his imaginative works have secured his place as a timeless literary figure. His works also hold significant educational value, as they convey essential lessons about empathy, time, and imagination. This thesis focuses on the popular children's book "Momo", analyzing it from both pedagogical and educational science perspectives. Central themes of the novel such as time management, social interaction, and interpersonal relationships are examined with regard to their educational relevance. The thesis is structured as follows: an introduction to the author's life and works, a conceptual clarification of key terms, and a detailed analysis of the novel "Momo". The central hypothesis of this study is that "Momo" contains important pedagogical and educational elements. The aim is to identify values relevant to education and explore their significance and potential in the context of learning and personal development. For the analysis, an eclectic-plural methodological approach is used, combining various educational science frameworks.
