A study of public relations and image of institution in schools of national education ministry "Malatya sample"

Nowadays fast develeopent of Science and technology and change in competition, brought necessity to institutions to tell and describe themselves become a primary concern more than ever.The long life of institutions depends on fullfilling expectation of groups that are surrounding and connected to the institution. The image of institution which is reflections of foundations and institutions reputation, has a vital importance. Public relations increase respect of institutions image.Public relations has a significant responsibility to create, project and improve the image of institution. Unfortunately there is not any public relation department in many instutions and foundations. Even there is not any public Relations Department in these institutions public relation facilities are handled by untrained people randomly. n this resarch which is done abaut institution image and public relation in schools, institution image, public relations, public relations in schools, public relations tools, quality and target mass. Has been tried to be explained theoritically. Taking these in to account, how public relations in school is understood by school maneger? How is the reputatioon of schools according to parents of students? A resarch has been done abaut role of public relations maintainingan institutions image in Malatya in private and formal schools. Maneger and students parents ideas has been searched in this resarch. The research showed that reputation of schools are good according to parents, public relations welcommed by maneger.
