National library 06 Mil Yz. A 1998 magazine (Transcription text-review)

The value of the magazines, which have an important place in Classical Turkish Literature, has increased because of the recent academic studies. These studies enable us to acquire new information about our literature history and other fields and allow us to eliminate the missing information. In this study, the periodical, registered with the archive number 06 Mil Yz A 1998, in the Collection of the National Library was transcribed and studied. This 85 foiled magazine contains the poems of some poets who lived in 15th, 16th,17th and 18th centuries. In this research, the concept of magazine and general characteristics of it were mentioned. Additionally, the methods for preparing magazine were mentioned also. Besides biographical informations about the poets in the magazines were given and the poems were arranged according to Mestap project. As a conclusion, a general evaluation of the text is done in the conclusion section. Key words: Magazine, Mestap, Poet, Poetry, Translation Font
