Intelligence activities in the National Struggle

For many years, governments have been using intelligence activities to maintain their existence and protect their countries and nations from internal and external dangers. So much so that military power alone is not enough to succeed against the enemy. For this reason, knowing the enemy's force structure, deployment, the status of the tools, equipment and weapons, the level of education, morale, and the personal characteristics of the commanders will help us determine our own style of operation. Being aware of these facts, Mustafa Kemal Pasha and his supporters of the National Struggle gave importance to the intelligence activities during the National Struggle. As a result of the studies carried out in various fields, especially espionage and propaganda activities, important information about the enemy was obtained. The information obtained in this way has been of great importance in winning the National Struggle.
