Compairing of Musul problems according to the commanders of National Struggles

In this research study, we aimed to investigate the features of the time period beginning from the invasion of Musul after the Mondros CeasefineTreaty signed on October 30th 1918 to the assigment of Ankara Agreement signed on June 5th 1926 date and to review the perception of the Commonders on this subject. Musul has been seized by Ottoman Empire since 11 th century. Musul, who entered the Ottoman Empire on with Caldıran in 1514, has become a state including the important cities of Musul, Kerkük and Süleymaniye. Despite the settlement of the Mondros Ceasefine Treaty, Musul was invaded by England in 1918.In Lousanne Conference, Englısh government tried to include Musul in the borders of Iraq, however Turkish government representatives has rejected thıs attempt and stated that Musul was in borders of the National Pact of Turkey. The unfair invasion of Musul after the agreement of Mondros Ceasefine Treaty has deeply affected the Turkish National struggle commanders, which in turn made them tell their thoughts about this subject in every occasion and directed them to find out a solution for this problem. Hovewer, the signing of Lousanne Agreement has been in trouble for a while, as TBMM and Englısh sides have an oppositon in Musul issue. For this reason, it has been decided that the Musul problem would be discussed in bilateral talks except from the Loussanne Conferance. Bilateral talks has yielded no positive result and the issue has been endorsed to the United Notians Organization (UNO). Nevertheless, Republic of Turkey has had to leave the Musul in Iraq border in accordence with the decision of the UNO. On the after hand, on June 5th 1926 although the payment of 10 percent of the total oil sale incomes to Republic of Turkey has been quarantered for 25 years by Ankara Agreement signed by Turkey England and Iraq, it has been revealed after 1958 that Turkey could not gain any income from this sale.
