Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine living museums in the context of architectural semiotics through examples. In this context, four museums were chosen to be analyzed in the research. Care was taken to ensure that all four museums were in living museum forms. The four museums sampled for review are: Guggenheim Museum of Contemporary Art / New York - USA, Jewish Museum / Berlin - Germany, Warsaw Uprising Museum / Warsaw - Poland, Troia Museum / Çanakkale - Turkey. It is seen that these four museums examined are out of the classical architecture in terms of architecture. In this context, the architecture of the museum is adorned with indicators, including the collections exhibited in the museum. Therefore, it becomes easier for visitors to enter the world of museums. The architecture of these museums, which are expressed as living museums, is also considered as a work of art. Therefore, the details in the museum are not chosen randomly, but are chosen by adding them to the collections in the museum. Keywords: Living Museum, Architecture, Semiotics Date:23.02.2022
