Abstract (EN)

In this study, discourse analysis was made on the narratives of Louis I. Kahn, Le Corbusier and Turgut Cansever, who are important names in the history of architecture, with their students. Discourse generally emerges as an affecting and influencing language practice. Discourse, which is an important issue in the construction of society and the environment, has been tried to be explained. In addition, with this research, it is aimed to re-evaluate the thought and action language has in the influence of architecture). In architectural thought, the issue of discourse is centered and architecture, which is the building act of humanity, has been reinterpreted through a different discipline. Kahn, who presented architecture as an idea-action union with both knowledge production and projects in his period, has been discussed through exemplary projects of Corbusier and Cansever. The aim of this thesis is to present a way to architectural students and beginner practicing architects, based on the approach important narrator architects such as Kahn, Corbusier and Cansever deal with the issues.
