The place of humor magazines in the cultural power struggle: The example of Hacamat magazine

At the time of writing this thesis, Ak Parti has been in political power for 17 years under the leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Party, of course, during this time, as has been the leader of a major political transformation in Turkey. In the political and economic pillars of thistransformation, more concrete and technical capital, such as the ratio of votes and tangible assets, was accumulated and could be utilized in the transformation of related fields. The leader of the movement, as quoted in his dissertation, statesthat he is satisfied with the transformation in the political and economic pillars and that progress has been made and that thetransformation in the cultural pillars remains weak and weak. This thesis focuses on the area of cultural power in which the struggle, which is the subject of the complaint, continues. The focus of the subtitle is cartoon magazines. In this thesis, firstly, the social relations of culture and the decisive and transforming role of social inequalities in the literal meaning is mentioned. Based on the relevant role of culture, the emphasis is on the references of conservative cultural production that participates in the struggle to attain the monopoly of determining legitimate judgments in the social sphere. The role of the relevant conservative references of cultural production in the context of the reproduction of social inequalities and the struggle for cultural power, and the fulfillment of the lack of cultural transformation, are examined by the journal of Hacamat, who aspire to the political ruling party.
