User experience and interface design in mobile application: E-commerce application

Humanity has endeavored to transfer its existence and knowledge to future generations with pictures or different figures bearing various symbolic values. Finding the writing helped humanity to transfer its knowledge and experience to future generations, and the printing press also made a great contribution. Printed publications, radio, television and similar communication tools, defined as traditional media, have made significant contributions to people's mass communication. However, thanks to the electronic information technologies developed with the 21st century, applications that enable the masses to communicate with each other more easily have emerged within the concept of new media. In addition to the development of computers and the internet, the widespread use of individual mobile communication has increased the effectiveness of new media applications. New media applications, which have started to take effect in every field, also entered the business life and showed a rapid development. In this study, it is aimed to transfer the concepts of user interface and user experience design, which have important effects in the field of new media, in a theoretical framework and to create a Turkish resource for the field. In the implementation phase of the study, various e-commerce sites were examined, and current approaches emerging in interface design and user experience design in these sites were tried to be analyzed.
