Determining effecting factors on the capacity of furniture production systems (Trazon Elbe Mobilya Model)

SUMMARY Determining Effective Factors on The Capacity at Furniture Production Systems (Trabzon ELBE Mobilya Model) In this study, it was examined the capacity concept which is extremely important for the enterprises. It was investigated the factors effective on the production capacity during production and the reasons of these factors' appear. It was chosen ELBE Mobilya Ticaret ve Sanayii A.Ş. located on the Arsin Organize Industry Area, as a material. It had been followed the production flow in the factory and tried to determine which factors are effective on the production capacity by doing some observations and measurements on the machines. As results of the observations and measurements, it had been determined that; the factors such as the adjustments and controls during production, defective products, the problems based on workers, amount of transportation, the activities of repair and maintenance, the condition of working area etc. are effective on the production capacity.
