Abstract (EN)

The presence of the development of real problems in the groundwater resources takes to the necessity of conceptualization the hydrogeologics systems, which create the scenery of conceptual, probably models. The models are applicated in a variety of situations reaching the most different scales. This works pretends to contribute to the knowledge of groundwater modelling resources into fractured courses, specially from granitoid rocks from the centre of Portugal. In this study are examined points of water from the main fractured aquifer from Gardunha`s mountain which is the base for the captations in the exploitation by Beira Vicente. Into this context a minucious study was elaborated, in the first part an introduction to the theme is done, with the presentation of the contents, a revision of the art´s state and the description of the work´s methodology. In the second chapter, we talk about the groundwater flow and the hydrogeological models. In the third chapter a description of the area in study is done, geomorphologically and geologically, either regional or local aspect. The fourth chapter is about the hydrogeological aspects, specially the aquifer recharge, hydrodynamics and hydrochemistry. In the fifth chapter a numerical model is created. Here the software used is presented and with it the local to do a new well is determined. This new well has potencial to become a new captation for the production of water like “Fonte da Fraga” water. At the last this dissertation ends with the presentation of the conclusions and the perspectives for the future.
