Abstract (EN)
This study examines the transformations in printmaking art throughout the transition from modernism to postmodernism in the language of art. Especially from the second half of the 20th century onward, printmaking has been reshaped by new techniques, materials, and aesthetic approaches. The research explores how printmaking gained different orientations during the modern and postmodern periods under three main themes. The first section evaluates the effects of modernism on art. Modernism led to profound changes in the art world due to industrial developments and technological advances. The second section examines the changes observed in printmaking during the postmodern period. The third section analyzes the transformation of printmaking during the transition from modernism to postmodernism. In this context, the study presents an analysis of the technical and conceptual transformation that printmaking underwent in the transition from modernism to postmodernism.
