Abstract (EN)

Yusuf Akçura, who witnessed and pioneered the establishment of the Republic in the last period of the Ottoman Empire, is an intellectual, thinker and intellectual raised by the Constitutional Monarchy and the Republic period. Akçura, who sheds light on the problems of her age with her works, still makes a name for herself with her work called Üç Styles-ı Politics.Akçura was one of the founding ideologists of the Republic, who was an opinion leader in the political and cultural fields of the newly established Republic of Turkey. Akçura was seen as the father of Turkish-Islamic Synthesis thought both in his own period and in the following processes. The ideal of finding a middle way in the issues of Islamism and Turkism combined with his realist and rational identity and enabled him to offer a solution. Thus, in addition to being a source of inspiration for the Muslim Turkish nation, which started a new era, he laid the foundation of an ideal that has survived to the present day of the Republic of Turkey with the idea of Turkish-Islamic Synthesis.Akçura, who also served as a politician in the capacity of a deputy, contributed to the intellectual development of Turkish thought with his valuable works in the fields of history and culture, especially in education.
