As a Mongol source Kartlis Tskhovreba

Georgia, which is central of the Caucasus and stands on the entrance and exit ways of Anatolia, is the most significant country of the Caucasus because of the fact that She has significant mountain passes that provide connection between east and west. Because of these reasons Georgia has always been the place where Byzantine, Khuarazmsha, Seljuk, Mongols, Ottoman and Russia etc. have always attempted to invade. The most notable ones among them are Mongol invades. Mongols spread to different regions and got in contact with different nations. Beyond any doubt one of the nations is Georgian who is one of the oldest nation of the Caucasus. The last part of the chronicle that consisted of our study Kartlis Tskhovreba, which is an anonymous Georgia chronicle' main idea is consisted of Mongols', who dominated the South Caucasus and Georgia, coming to the region down from 1220, Sultan Jalaldin's ending, who is the ruler of the Khuarazmsha and holding the Tblisi and became the real power of the region, Seljuq and Georgia relations, Mongols, who occupied the East Georgia then made the Georgia their principality, however; Mongols' political-martial relations that they dominate Georgia after bileteral administration showed up because of the stability of the Georgia principality and social-economic relations. Even if they tried to riot against Mongols, They gained their independence with King V.Giorgi,who save the Georgians from Mongol and fixed the shattered political structure by reaching their gorgeous era on Tamara's Era. This study aims that contribute the studies about relation between Georiga and Mongols by utilising sources that are not used so much on the studying in Turkey. The reasons why I study about this project are shortage of studies about Caucasus that has strong historical connections, underrating South Caucasus and especially Georgia History and Geography while more care the North Caucasus History, although there are several sources about Mongols and their occupies, there is much more less things about Mongols South Georgia activities. In the studies done in Turkey, it goes to the way of benefiting from the Georgian sources which are not used very much, XII.
