Abstract (EN)
Poli(lactic acid) (PLA) is biodegradable polyester produced from renewable resources and used for numerious applications. In this study, monoterpenic phenol monomers and polymers was used to improve the PLA properties and expand the PLA's application areas. PLA and various compositions for production of the composite was done by using melt compounding method at the extruder. The physical and chemical properties of PLA and other samples was investigated by the addition of monoterpenic phenol monomers and polymers. The prepared composites was characterized by mechanical tests (tensile tests), DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry), TGA (Thermogravimetric analysis), FTIR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy), DMA (Dynamic Mechanical Analysis). Morphological features was investigated with SEM (Scanning electron microscope) analysis. Antibacterial property tests of composite materials was carried out.
