Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was investigated to evaluate chainsaw dust in particle board production. Chainsaw dust chippings were used as raw material, obtained from the coast pine, beech and ash woods. Test boards were produced with 3 layers with urea formaldehyde glue. The physical and mechanical properties of the boards obtained were compared with standard particle board properties and the suitability of chainsaw dust for particle board production was determined. The highest internal bond was found on the MTT control group boards with a maximum bending strength of 12.84 N/mm2 while the internal bonding was seen in the EY control group at 0.51 N/mm2. When the results obtained are evaluated, it appears that the physical and mechanical properties provide the necessary properties for general purpose use.
