Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is building a first NIR calibration from corn grains which were obtained from different region of Turkey. For this purpose, totally 320 corn samples were obtained from 7 different regions of Turkey. After grinding, spectras were obtained from each samples. Then, samples were analyzed crude protein by Kjeldahl method. There was occured regression parameters that is r=0.7384; r2= 0.5452 Standart Deviation = 0.6052 for calibration sets and r=0.8407; r2= 0.7067 Standart Deviation = 0.4340 for validation sets. Also, the range of calibration sets was calculated as 5.025 and the range of validation sets was calculated as 5.419. As a conclusion, the results were shown that there are some potentials for building a satisfactory crude protein calibration on corn grain samples which was obtained from seven different regions of Turkey.
