A study on life, works and art of Mucize Özünal

In this study, information about the life, art and personality of Mucize Özünal has been given and investigations have been made on her works. Born in Istanbul on March 15, 1947, the author has included social and individual issues in her works. In addition, traces from her own life can be found in her works. Mucize Özünal has seven novels and four story books. Apart from these, she has written articles in many magazines such as Şölen (Feast), Varlık (Presence), Karşı (Against), Çağdaş Türk Dili (Contemporary Turkish Language), Düşlem (Fantasy), Beşparmak (Fivefingers), Kadınlar Dünyası (Women's World), Papirüs (Papyrus), Adam Sanat (Man Arts), Şehir (The City), Afrodisyas Sanat (Aphrodisias Art) and local and national newspapers such as Cumhuriyet (Republic), Gözlem (Observation), Söke Ekspres (Söke Express) and Mücadele (Struggle). Using a simple, comprehensible, immersive language, the stories of the writer are frequently encountered with themes such as questioning life, hope, loneliness, social degeneration, joy of life, frustration, deception, aspiration and alienation. Apart from these, she also has stories about history. In her stories, the expression was strengthened by using multiple narrators and the opportunities of story art were utilized. In her three biographical novels, she wrote about the life of the people of science, art and law raised by the republic and attaches great importance to the enlightenment policies of the republic and reflects the efforts made for this purpose to her works.
