Birth tradition in Mudurnu folklore

This study we do on Bolu folk culture is a field study on birth tradition and child. There are many beliefs, beliefs and pratices about birth and child in Turkish folk culture. Fort his reason, it will be beneficial to identify and reveal the birth tradition and varios beliefs, beliefs and practices regarding the child in Mudurnu folk culture. Since the name of our thesis is "Traditional Practices of Postpartum Baby Care İn Mudurnu Folklore" our research area is Mudurnu district of Bolu province. We have transferred the information we obtained from the source persons in this field study in the center and villages of Mudurnu district to our thesis. Due to the fact that Mudurnu district is far from the city center of Bolu, its geographical location and declared a protected area, it has been abşe to transfer ist culture to the present day without any deterioration, and this has brought very useful result for our thesis. However, despite all this situation, there are some materials that are not accessible in the research area as well as accessible marerials. The fact that the research field is not used to referring to such studies orally can be given as one of the negativities we encountered during the research. Despite such difficulties, approximately one hundred and eighteen question about the birth tradition and the child were asked to sixty-one source people in the field where the review was conducted. This information, which was obtained from the source persons in written, oral and visual from, was recorded.
